The afternoon of the first day will consist of a swim test of 200 meters and a 10 minute tread water. Don’t worry if you don–t feel confident about this test, in our experience many people find this much easier than they expect. We will guide you through it with some tips if you feel that you are not a strong swimmer.

The rest of the afternoon we will guide you through the equipment set up so you can independently assemble and disassemble your scuba equipment as well as teaching you to look after your own equipment.

Day 2 will begin with furthering your knowledge of scuba diving in the class room. You learn important safety procedures and common sense tips. By putting together what we learn in the classroom and what you learn in your manual we will be ready to take a few short quizzes to reinforce what you have learned.
