What You Learn

The underwater navigation specialist course teaches you the use of an underwater compass and natural navigation tips, as well as teaching you to perform complex navigation patterns underwater. You will be able to judge distance underwater and master dive planning to a professional level.

The Dive Gear You Use

You will use the standard diving equipment, some dive accessories such as a dive slate and an underwater compass.

The Learning Materials Included

The PADI Navigation specialist crew pack includes everything needed to complete the Underwater Navigation specialty course.

Prerequisites

You must be:

A PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
At least 10 years old

Path to Master Scuba Diver

If you have already completed the PADI Open Water course then you are no doubt eager to learn more. Continuing your diver education cannot be more beneficial to you as a diver.

It should be the goal of every diver to pursue the status of Master Scuba Diver. Continue your diver education up to Rescue diver and complete 5 PADI specialties of your choice to receive your MASTER SCUBA DIVER status.
